My husband is a Martini Maestro. He loves to consume well-made martinis. He’s equally good at making them. These particular martinis are wickedly dangerous. They taste way too good and go down real easy. They are fabulous on New Year’s Eve IF all your guests plan to sleep over. If you know my husband, ask him to make you one. If you know your husband, ask him to make you one. Wives, partners, Aunts, Uncles, neighbors – really anyone will do as long as they are of legal drinking age and can mix TWO ingredients together. This isn’t rocket science. I went to MIT. I know rocket science when I see it and this isn’t it.
Wicked Chocolate Martini
- 5 oz best quality vodka
- 2 oz clear Crème de Cacao
- Shaved dark chocolate and a dark chocolate chunk
Pour both liquors over ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously. Wet the rim of a martini glass. Dip the rim in shaved dark chocolate flakes. Drop a chunk of dark chocolate in the bottom of glass. Pour in the liquid. Serve. Be prepared to immediately make more. No one drinks just one.

Hmmm…what are you doing next New Year’s Eve??? Looks scrumptious.
Oh yum! I love chocolate martinis
I had a tropical martini in Vegas once that I’ve never been able to replicate. it rocked!
Those sound incredible. I’m going to have to note this recipe for the next time I’m with my mother-in-law. We neither one drink often, but we seem to when we’re together. Thanks!
