If you want to read some of the crazy stories of our travel/food exploits take a look at my travel blog (www.thenotquitedailydispatch.com). I've written a lot about our approach to food and travel. Glad you found my blog!

It looks wonderful! I buy La Brea bread every week at our market. Its one of the easiest(and best) ways to get our whole grains in every day.
I just found your website and think it is amazing! We too visit local farmers markets where ever our travels take us. I must admit I thought I was the only one that did that because our friends and family think its weird. I must be hanging out with the wrong crowd...

Drew: I hope you love it as much as we do. I hate to admit how often we eat this for breakfast! It's basically a staple in our household. Cheers, Rachel

My sister IS smart. It has ten eggs because it's enough French toast for 5-6 people. I know you like fake syrup. It's obvious.

1) Your sister sounds smart.
2) I don't think I've ever cooked anything with 10 eggs.
3) Hooray for the Amaretto.
4) I'm not admitting that I like fake syrup.
