Laurie – I am so glad to hear it and thanks so much for posting the comment. You have a wonderful brother. What a kind and lovely thing to do with his nieces. I love being in the kitchen with relatives. I spent a lot of time as a kid in the kitchen cooking with my grandmother, sister and parents and those experiences form many of my favorite family memories. Good for Wally for creating those same sorts of memories for your girls.

Rachel,

My brother Wally came all the way from L.A. to Alameda (near SF), to make the chicken/zucchini fritters with my daughters, his nieces, last night. I said, “why don’t you take them out to eat?” But he insisted, “No…I’ve got the perfect recipe in mind.” They were DELICIOUS and much bonding in the kitchen was had by all. Nice site!
